As a senior creative leader charged with helping to launch Digitas' new healthcare division, I assisted in the creation of a yearlong program for Chantix that delivered 365 days of patient support. This campaign led to a 27% increase in patient retention and a 98% return on investment in 1 year.

As associate creative director of Digitas, I managed the Viagra account (among other Pfizer brands) with over $4+ million in billings. Under my leadership, the business grew beyond RM into physician materials, digital and TV. During that time, we also launched the Viagra Value Card, a loyalty program that kept patients on treatment an additional 9 months and resulted in $2.5m+ in billings.

In 2001, I was enlisted to help launch the Chicago office of Digitas. I drove cross country to join a small team in a huge office space on Wacker Drive. The team grew quickly as did the roster of accounts. In addition to Allstate and Whirlpool, I managed the Best Buy relationship and was Instrumental in the creation of Reward Zone, a loyalty program that demonstrated a seven-fold increase in consumer spending. I also spearheaded a templated approach to emails that resulted in a 40% cost savings over the prior year.

BabyNes is a simple Nespresso style machine that was designed to make the perfect nutritionally balanced bottle for hungry babies. It was the first nutrition system to deliver all of the benefits of breast milk, so that seemed like fertile ground for conceptual thinking. This work was created to pitch the account and was done while I was consulting with Digitas in New York City.

The Affordable Care Act sent small businesses into tailspins trying to understand the new norm after Reform. ADP's Human Capital Management (HCM) Solutions could help ensure compliance, but their services were not well known. As creative lead, I introduced the theme of "Help Care Reform" to assist SMBs avoid costly missteps by delivering practical, real-world guidance through detailed, explanatory content. As a result, ADP pivoted from “payroll provider” to being known as a leading provider of HCM solutions.

Tarp funds and bailouts were all people could talk about after the 2008 financial crisis. And, that was a problem for Citigroup, which was working hard to implement more responsible lending practices. Unfortunately, that news was not making the evening news. So, we helped Citi tell their story by opening a true dialogue with customers via social channels. It gave Citi executives a platform to talk about change and the public a place to respond and be heard.

I am the U.S. Utility Patent Holder and inventor of a pacifier weaning system, which is now sold at major retailers. The system is comprised of 5 different pacifiers with nipples that get progressively smaller and change in shape to make sucking less enjoyable for children. In addition to the concept itself, I also drove all aspects of production and market strategy. Packaging and design was part of this process.
